Position Summary
  • The corporate website, resources site and all the product sub-sites are typically the first window of contact for all visitors to our company. The presentation, customer engagement flows and quality have to be up with the best out there to engage the visitor, help them find relevant information quickly, accurately and build trust to enable them to move to the next level.
  • This is a crucial piece of technology in the entire business flow. If you are passionate about customer experiences, have ideas on how to engage customers digitally, and can work in a dynamic fast-paced team, then this position is for you.
  • Mithi is looking for a graduate in Computer Science with a deep understanding of web technologies, along with experience in setting up, programming, building business apps and maintaining web sites on WordPress and related technologies.

Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience
  • Engineering degree (BE) in Computer Science or an MCA or equivalent.
  • 2 – 4 years of hands on experience in developing Web applications. Exceptional freshers can be considered.
  • Should have a good understanding of programming and working with both Frontend as well as Backend technologies mainly WordPress, blogs, plugins and form tools.
  • Expertise with web application architecture, application security and REST APIs.
  • Mandatory programming skills – JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Python, and ReactJS.
  • Should Understand basic Algorithms, Data Structures and simple databases.
  • Sound debugging skills using tools like browser's developer tools etc.

Roles, Responsibilities and Key Result Area
  • Develop and maintain the corporate and product websites and business applications using WordPress, WP plugins, Form technologies, PHP, Java, JavaScript, ReactJS, jQuery, HTML, Angular, CSS and Python.
  • Use advanced themes, reusable templates, CSS templates to reduce coding effort and speed up delivery of changes to the web content.
  • Follow the best practices for code development and code hygiene. Write modular and unit tested code.
  • Stay current on new technologies as they relate to web application development.
  • Take end to end responsibility of the assigned tasks/modules/features by interacting with different stakeholders like Product Managers, UX designers, QA, etc.
  • Use Agile best practices to break down work and deliver incrementally and on schedule.
