Event Highlights:

CIO Survey Report:

Mr. Srinivas Iyengar (Director IT and Operations, Aegon Religare), who has won the CIO 100 Award in 2009 and 2010, shared how Connect Xf (an Open Source based Email system) seamlessly integrated with Microsoft Exchange and provided key benefits like smooth mailflow, high reliability, easy scalability and efficient utilization of IT resources.

We have launched a report on Trends in Open Source Software (OSS) and Collaboration Technology Infrastructure, based on the survey of about 100 participants during the 2nd Collaboration Retreat 2011 for select CXOs and Delegates. This report captures the opinions of IT decision makers in organizations across industries regarding the feasibility and future of OSS and Collaboration IT Infrastructure. Opening Address: Collaboration Retreat 2011

In his opening address, Tarun Malaviya (CEO of Mithi), explained the theme of the Collaboration Retreat and how this event is shaping up as a platform for seeding new ideas on collaboration. With the help of several real life examples, he talked about how in today’s world, collaboration is more important than competition as a means for progress. Low Cost Email and Collaboration Solutions: Some Experiences and Learning

As a speaker at the Collaboration Retreat 2011, Ashok Malaviya (Director – Sales at Mithi) shares how Mithi has been consistently trying to lower the cost of Email and Collaboration for its customers through successive generations of its product. He speaks on how every time Mithi attempted to reduce the costs for its customers, it had to improve performance.
