One Product, One Architecture, Multiple Benefits - A Case Study covering 3 Diverse Enterprise This case study covering 3 diverse enterprises, was unveiled during the Collaboration Retreat 2011. The case study talks about consolidation of their respective collaboration infrastructures into uniform, centralized setups, to derive benefits of substantially lower TCO, high-availability, improved security and scalability.

Requirement: Aditya Birla Group wanted to consolidate their 3 heterogeneous email solutions across 14,000 users (growing exponentially) into a uniform, group-wide messaging system.
Solution: Mithi implemented a uniform email solution for the whole group and helped achieve huge savings on TCO, near-zero server downtime and easier scalability.

Energy and Power
Client: A prestigious organisation under Department of Atomic Energy, Govt. of India.
Requirement: A highly secure mailing system with strict isolation of the mail servers from the Internet. The setup is such that all services have to run within their data center and only on government approved network providers. None of the mail servers to have public IPs at all.
Solution: Provided a solution which has an Internet facing mail landing server, from which the internal server fetches mail over a private network. The other servers in the network in turn connect to this over a private secure WAN. To match their strict security norms, the entire security framework was enabled and was rigorously tested by their team.
Benefits: The flexibility of Mithi's product, enabled us to configure the solution as per their need. Additionally the built in out-of-the-box security framework could meet all their security requirements like secure channel transmission etc.

Requirement: Providing internal and external mailing for users from HQ and other 55 labs/establishments across India.
Solution: Mithi Connect Xf is deployed in a centralized, multiple-server setup, and provides access to mails over LAN, WAN and Internet through webmail and POP/IMAP clients like Outlook, Outlook Express etc.
