Our latest release considerably improves on the already efficient Connect Xf Server to allow for a single server to host more users on a server (upto 5000 users) and handle larger mail flow (of upto 1,50,000 mails per day) on an Intel Dual Quad Core, 8 GB Server.

New Interface of Baya

We have redesigned Baya to sport a more modern and cleaner look. It’s much easier to glean through and choose various options while using Mail, Calendar, Address Book and Chat options. Five new & fresh themes have been added for the new interface.

Attachment Stripping

Mails sent to multiple recipients with attachments can consume large amounts of bandwidth and choke mail traffic. The new Attachment Stripping feature remedies this by sending the mail stripped of all attachments to all recipients.

With links provided as part of the stripped down mail to access the attachments. By avoiding unnecessary duplication of data, the feature saves both on storage and bandwidth delivering a consistently high performance.

Over 25 MIS Reports

Connect Xf 3.6 onwards introduces over 25+ new reports, classified into Activity reports, Mail traffic reports, Server statistics reports.

These reports help improve the server resource management, security, availability, etc. improve overall server performance leading to better resource utilization.

Faster Mail Delivery

A new adaptive mail routing feature automatically selects the best routing for your mail. This powerful new mail routing feature can directly deliver mail to parallel queues running on the server, thereby blasting mail delivery bottlenecks and ensuring faster mail delivery.

Improved Availability

Integration of new DRBD and Heartbeat component for a faster and more efficient Disaster Recovery solution. The improvements in disaster recovery feature make it easier for you to manage and maintain the disaster recovery setup in addition to ensuring faster data replication between the primary and the secondary server.

Faster Authentication

A completely overhauled directory structure ensures faster authentication and quicker response for all critical operations. The new directory structure considerably reduces the number of connections made to the backend database and directory servers.

Support for RHEL 6 and Cent OS 6

Release 3.6 onwards, Connect Xf is now available for RHEL 6 and Cent OS 6 platforms. The Connect Xf 3.6 release for RHEL 6 brings in better performance and higher security. In addition to the upgraded operating system, this release also upgrades key open source components used by Connect XF such as Apache, SpamAssassin, Clamav, Elinks, Iptables, Java-utils, JDK, Postfix, Tomcat, Jsvc, Filesystemetc.
