CIO Survey Report: We have launched a report on Trends in Open Source Software (OSS) and Collaboration Technology Infrastructure, based on the survey of about 100 participants during the 2nd Collaboration Retreat 2011 for select CXOs and Delegates. This report captures the opinions of IT decision makers in organizations across industries regarding the feasibility and future of OSS and Collaboration IT Infrastructure.
Event Highlights: Apart from offering a first-of-its-kind interactive platform for sharing CIO and CFO perspectives on Collaboration Infrastructure Strategies, it also offered a good opportunity to the CXOs and delegates for networking and informal conversations. New Business Case Study: A case study covering 3 large enterprises from Manufacturing, Telecom, Defense sectors was unveiled during the Collaboration Retreat 2011. It talks about consolidation of their respective collaboration infrastructures into uniform, centralized setups, to derive benefits of substantially lower TCO, high-availability, improved security and scalability.
Low Cost Email and Collaboration Solutions: Some Experiences and Learning: As a speaker at the Collaboration Retreat 2011, Ashok Malaviya (Director - Sales at Mithi) shares how Mithi has been consistently trying to lower the cost of Email and Collaboration for its customers through successive generations of its product. He speaks on how every time Mithi attempted to reduce the costs for its customers, it had to improve performance.
